Recently, we had the honor to work with Heather D.’s beautiful Maggie Sottero gown. With embroidered netting as the top layer of the gown and a satin sash on an empire waste, this dress is incredibly glamorous. The embroideries include bead-work, crystals and pearls. The veil also has appliques of lace and crystals. When we received the dress, there were make-up and perspiration inside the bodice and on the underarms. The back tie had stains and the hemline was very dirty, with small holes.

B

We devoted our energy to Amy’s dress by hand cleaning her gown through wet cleaning.. We also carefully spot cleaned her veil and then hand-pressed the veil and gown. We preserved it with We preserved it with Museum Method™ wedding gown preservation.

Heather can now let her family and friends see the dress whenever they would like!
