An Embroidered Work of Art

Recently, we had the honor to work with Heather D.’s beautiful Maggie Sottero gown. With embroidered netting as the top layer of the gown and a satin sash on an empire waste, this dress is incredibly glamorous. The embroideries include bead-work, crystals and pearls. The veil also has appliques of lace and crystals. When we received the dress, there were make-up and perspiration inside the bodice and on the underarms. The back tie had stains and the hemline was very dirty, with small holes.

Heather’s Wedding Gown Preservation

We devoted our energy to Amy’s dress by hand cleaning her gown through wet cleaning.. We also carefully spot cleaned her veil and then hand-pressed the veil and gown. We preserved it with We preserved it with Museum Methodâ„¢ wedding gown preservation.

Heather can now let her family and friends see the dress whenever they would like!
