We couldn’t be more honored to be a part of a truly special surprise. Best of luck to Miranda and her mother Kim in pulling off this wonderful surprise!

by Kim Stevens
This dress is being preserved because my daughter, Miranda Stevens, wants to wear her Grandma’s wedding dress for her August 2017 wedding.  Grandma does NOT know that she is planning on wearing it and our hope is to surprise her when we go to “try on dresses.”

(We’ve tried to slyly ask details and actually had to sneak into their house to get pictures!)

My Mom’s name is Betty (Mathews) Schnell and she married my Dad, Raymond E. Schnell, Jr. On November 2, 1962.

They are still married. 54 years this last November.

The dress was bought at Wright’s Jeweler in 1962.  The jewelry store had a small section in the back of their store that had wedding gowns.
