A wedding dress story by Jessica Baum
I wore the dress on July 21, 2012 for my wedding to Brian. I purchased it at MB Bride in Greensburg, PA. I had been to the store before to try on dresses and narrow down to a few choices. I went back to the store when my mom and sister were able come to town before I chose one. This Justin Alexander dress was not there the initial time I was at the store.
MB Bride was having a Justin Alexander show on my second visit. I picked the dress from the rack when I saw it because it had clean lines with some embellishment. After trying on the dresses from my initial list, I started with the new dresses. I knew it was the right dress when I put it on that day. It was a much different experience than at a different store when I bought a dress. Yes, I have two wedding gowns! At this other store, I felt pressured and forced into purchasing a dress. I was not happy with it, but felt I didn’t have another option. I am so glad I continued to look, even though I had already purchased one. My experience with this dress was completely different. I knew it was the right one.
Jessica’s Wedding Gown Preservation
From HGP staff
It was a pleasure to clean and give Jessica’s wedding gown preservation. Jessica’s wedding dress was made of satin with organza over it and had a bead work of crystals and pearls over the tulle on the waist area with buttons all down the back. Her veil was beautiful with lace all along the edges. Although the hemline was quite dirty, we were able to get it clean and beautiful. Jessica chose our Museum Method (hanging) wedding gown preservation, so she can inspect her wedding gown any time she would like.
