Free Shipping Terms
All Free shipping offers on our website are valid for customers located within the continental USA. Hawaii, Alaska and Canadian customers pay separately for shipping their wedding gowns to our northern California facility and then we will pay the return shipping (insured for $500). Additional charges may apply for insuring packages over $500. Due to the extra shipping costs involved for these areas, we do not ship shipping kits for those orders. Heritage Couture™ and customers who purchase shipping kits will receive a credit for the shipping kit.
Other garment care orders (i.e. christening gowns, communion gowns, uniforms, etc.) located outside of the continental USA may also acrue additional shipping charges.
Instructions and Shipping Label
After you order, we will send you shipping instructions including a pre-paid shipping label via email. Heritage Couture™ orders and other customers who purchase a shipping kit will also receive a shipping kit with box, tape, FedEx label and instructions via US postal service or FedEx ground shipping.
All wedding gowns are shipped signature delivery, both directions. Which means, we sign for your wedding gown when it arrives here and you sign for your wedding gown when it returns. It will never be left on a doorstep. All other garments that we ship (christening gowns, uniforms, etc) are also shipped signature delivery for added security.
If you live in the San Francisco area, please call us at 866-268-4696 to discuss drop off and pick up of your garment. Discounts may be available.
We will automatically include $500 of shipping insurance to protect your garment at no charge to you. Additional shipping insurance is available for $15 per $1000 of coverage in the shopping cart. Please be aware that replacement documentation must be provided to UPS or FedEx for all claims. Therefore, only insure your garment for the replacement cost. If your garment is an heirloom, you can insure it for the cost of a replica to be custom made. Your dress is fully insured while it is in our possession.
Museum Method preservation supplies are shipped daily Monday through Friday, UPS or FedEx ground within the continental US and US postal services to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and overseas. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 707-746-6300 to determine shipping costs outside the continental USA. Some items have free shipping.
All preservation boxes have Free shipping and are drop shipped from the manufacturer one to two weeks after ordered. They are shipped FedEx ground and will incur duty charges when shipping to Canada. Kit supplies that go with preservation boxes are shipped from our California warehouse.
