I went wedding dress shopping with my mom, brother, sister, and sister-in-law at “Bride to Be Couture” in Sacramento and told them that I wanted a simple wedding gown with straps – no lace or beads or anything like that. The owner asked each of them to choose a dress for me to try on. I choose the one my mom picked out, even though she ignored everything I’d said about what I wanted. And I loved it!
Finally Wearing the Wedding Dress
We got married in Mendocino, CA and since my wedding dress was oatmeal colored, the bridesmaids wore ivory, the men charcoal, and the only color was our bright pink tulips.
