A Wedding Dress Story

My wedding dress is a Hayley Paige “Keaton” that was customized to add straps. The gown was purchased in Houston, Texas at Now & Forever Bridal Boutique, and the customization and alterations were performed there. It was the first dress that I tried on at the boutique.
My October 10, 2015 wedding was in Raleigh, North Carolina. I really liked the stripes on the dress so I also incorporated stripes into my wedding decor. It was an indoor wedding and the hem of the dress got really dirty from the dance floor, and I had to travel through the venue’s kitchen as a shortcut so it got really dirty there as well.

We also love the stripes on Gen’s wedding dress. It definitely added flair to her wedding along with her glittered shoes and sparkling bridesmaids.
Gen’s gown is made of striped organza and tulle, with acetate lining. The hemline was quite dirty so we gave it a chemical pre-treatment followed by extensive hand cleaning. It really came out beautiful and VERY clean (see photos below).
