Heritage Garment Preservation Warranties
Please read the following information on our warranties for professional cleaning and preservation and your responsibility in the long term care of your treasured garment.
30 Day Money-back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the cleaning and preservation of your treasured garment after your garment has been returned to you, you may have it re-cleaned and preserved or you may return the preservation materials to us for a refund.
Lifetime Warranty.
If your bridal gown ever develops oxidation spots, or yellows, you may return the gown to us to be re-cleaned and preserved at no charge (excluding shipping costs.)
Full Value Replacement Insurance
Your treasured garments are fully insured while in our care for their full replacement value. Be sure to list the cost of your wedding gown or garment on your shipping form. If your garment is an heirloom, replacement value would be the cost of a custom made replicate.
Preservation Only Guarantee
Occasionally we are asked to preserve a gown that has never been worn or has already been cleaned. We are happy to do so, but these customers should know that their gowns will not have the same Lifetime Warranty that our cleaning and preservation services include. We will include a 30 day money back guarantee on the preservation only on garments that we preserve but do not clean.
UPS insurance
All garments that we ship are covered for $100 UPS insurance at no cost to you. Optional additional UPS insurance is available for a cost of $5.00 for every $500 of UPS insurance. This will cover your garment during transportation against loss or damage by UPS. This additional insurance is not mandatory but may give you greater peace of mind.
UPS does a great job in shipping and delivery, and claims are rare.
Please be aware that any claims will need to be substantiated with proof of purchase receipts, or other definitive bids for replacing or repairing a garment.
Your Responsibilities
To keep your warranties valid, we ask only that you keep your preserved garment in a climate controlled environment (most indoor closets are fine.) Please avoid attics, basements, and garages for storage where temperature fluctuations or excessive dampness may occur. Always wear the cotton gloves that we include with our services any time that you handle your preserved garment. Your hands have natural oils on them that may not appear immediately, but can oxidize over time and develop into stains.
All warranties are void if the garment is not stored in proper conditions or if the garment is worn again.
