Keeping your wedding gown in
good condition is as important before your wedding as
afterwards. If you are like many brides, you may have your
wedding gown months before your wedding and need to
store it until your special day.
Storing your
gown in plastic or vinyl garment bags may put it at risk
for discoloration. The fumes from most all
plastics actually promote yellowing. To protect your
wedding gown from yellowing, you should store it in an acid-free environment.
A 100% Cotton Garment Bag works great for safe, acid-free
storage. It is also great bridal gown storage after your wedding.
But don't throw
away your plastic garment bag. In case of any bad weather, it will help you safely transport your bridal gown on your wedding day.
