Our museum quality preservation boxes are acid-free, sulfur free and lignin free throughout. Our buffered box has a minimum pH of 8.5 and 3% calcium carbonate buffer. TAPPI accelerated aging tests show our buffered box will prevent acid migration for up to five centuries! Specifications exceed those used by the United States National Archives and Records Administration.
Please note: It is advised that boxed garments be refolded every 2-3 years to prevent permanent creases from setting in. Always wear cotton gloves when handling preserved garments and remember to keep your preserved garments in a climate controlled environment.
