A Wedding Dress Story by Kath W
My Vera Wang gown is made of four different kinds of lace. The bodice is covered with layers of corded leaf lace and a fine circular netted lace, while the skirt swirls with organza, chantilly lace, circular netted lace, and bands of horsehair. I altered the wedding dress to have a sweetheart, scoop-like neckline, and also wore a Rosa Clara belt. We purchased my gown and accessories from the Nordstrom’s Bridal Suite in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Derek and I got married at Chateau St. Jean Winery in Kenwood, California on September 27th, 2014. Our ceremony and reception were held outside, and the day really was beautiful.
