We were concerned about the delicate nature of the vintage lacewhen we received this vintage wedding gown from June S. Occasionally these old laces are very fragile and may not hold up well to the whitening chemicals. The dress was not severely yellow, and quite evenly colored. But we took great care with it due to its age and the fragile nature of the lace.
Fortunately the dress responded very well to the whitening process. It turned out beautiful and the lace held up great. It is now a beautiful candlelight white color. The pictures do not do it justice.
