Coti’s Pnina Tornai Wedding Dress Preservation

This beautiful, off white Pnina Tornai tulle wedding dress with attached jeweled belt was worn by Coti B. on October 6, 2017 when she married her sweetheart at The Caramel Room at Bissinger’s in Saint Louis, Missouri. Coti found her gown at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. Her gown includes a sweetheart illusion bodice and a skirt trimmed in silk ribbon. Kittychen Couture Gown Perfect as Planned

A Wedding Dress Story By Emily Avery Chies My husband, Tom Chies proposed to me in the ‘London’ area of Universal Studios in late January of 2016. Our first big trip together was to London to see our NFL teams play each other in Wembley stadium (I’m a Falcons fan and he’s a Lions fan) so that area of Universal had a lot of meaning. I’m a planner (a no brainer in the accounting field) and had researched wedding gowns quite extensively before I went to look at any. I know my body type and what would flatter me the most and I was pretty sold on the Kitty Chen line...

Kim’s Wedding Dress Styled for 1920’s Crosley Estate

By Kimberly Farrell I wore my wedding dress on November 3rd of 2016 at the Power Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida. When I was little I saw pictures of a wedding at the Crosley and I absolutely fell in love with the idea of being married there. The estate was built in the 1920’s and is right next to what is now the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art. The Crosleys and the Ringlings (of Ringling circus) were good friends and settled in Sarasota on the bay where I was born, raised, and met my now husband! We both grew up on the water and couldn’t imagine getting married...

Sottero Gown Perfect for Katie’s Georgia Wedding

By Katie Hogan I chose this dress to go along with our Art Deco wedding theme, which is a natural fit with our personalities. I worked with a personal trainer during my engagement and my husband really appreciates how toned my back is. I wanted to make sure I chose a dress that would show off my hard work. My wedding gown is a Sottero and Midgley described as follows from their website: Intricate patterns of glittering beads and opalescent pearls rain down the length of this luxurious tulle sheath wedding gown, with illusion sweetheart neckline and plunging, open back. Finished with covered...

Desert Wedding is Hot and Heavenly

By Heidi Pentergast Heidi’s Wedding gown I found my dress at Love Couture Bridal in Potomac, MD. It was the third shop I had been to and I had quickly swung in after work by myself to see if there was anything that may work. I had started shopping a little late, so was limited to sample dresses. As soon as I put on the dress I knew that it was the one. There were a few things that I wanted changed (there were originally short sleeves that I had tacked up, the train shortened, and lace around the hip under the top fabric that had been stretched out, so I had that band of lace...

Gen’s Striped Wedding Dress Helps Wedding Sparkle

A Wedding Dress Story By Gen L. My wedding dress is a Hayley Paige “Keaton” that was customized to add straps. The gown was purchased in Houston, Texas at Now & Forever Bridal Boutique, and the customization and alterations were performed there. It was the first dress that I tried on at the boutique. My October 10, 2015 wedding was in Raleigh, North Carolina. I really liked the stripes on the dress so I also incorporated stripes into my wedding decor. It was an indoor wedding and the hem of the dress got really dirty from the dance floor, and I had to travel through the...

Claire Glows in Fabrizia

By Claire W. My wedding dress, Fabrizia by Rivini, with matching cathedral length veil, was purchased from Trousseau Bridal in Columbus, Ohio. The owners of Trousseau Bridal, Meg and Beth, are the friendliest people you will ever meet! We wanted our wedding to feel modern and romantic, and this wedding gown was simply perfect. All the details are stunning – the American and French Chantilly lace, the horsehair edged ruffles and the dropped asymmetric waist. Claire’s Wedding Dress Preservation Claire’s Rivini ivory wedding gown with lace bodice and full skirt of tulle...

Diana’s Wedding Dress is Perfect

Diana O. absolutely loved her wedding dress which she wore for her wedding in Flushing, New York on September 17, 2016. Diana found her Oleg Cassini, very full wedding gown at David’s Bridal.  Cream colored organza with layers of tulle ruffles and lace over satin make this wedding gown fun and fluffy, and perfect for a celebration! Diana’s Wedding Dress Preservation When we received Diana’s wedding dress it was in fairly good condition. The hemline was a bit dirty and we found a small hole in one of the layers of tulle. Tulle fabric is quite frail and most tulle...
